At the Tauranga Dog Boarding Hotel- 35 B Glasgow St, Tauranga, there is a reception area where we do initial assessments and a small retail area. Further in there are separate large and small dog areas which both have outside yards. The outside areas have a pool and sandpit as well as a swing ball, tunnel, a bridge and toy boxes. Inside areas have leather couches and television sets. There are 14 adjoining suites, some of them are carpeted, and some have their own televisions. The suites have different sized beds and hot water bottles as well as microwave heat pads keep your dogs warm. Some beds have sheepskin rugs. All have warm rugs but we encourage you to bring your dog’s bed from home, so s/he feels more at home. Each room has a lockable container to store your dog’s food which you also bring from home. There is a little box up high for all their bits and pieces. We have a fridge/freezer for the wet food. Internet cameras allow you to view what’s happening and also to look in on the suites. We have a variety of balls as well as a tennis ball machine. There is another toy box with things for our twice daily activities. These include soccer balls, rugby ball, bubble makers, torches. There is a treadmill for the dogs.

We have a hydro bath so offer a brush, bath and dry service as well as grooming. Ella is our resident groomer. Additionally we offer training for your dog's particular issues. Bridee is our resident trainer and is starting one day a week and increasing as the number of dogs and demand for her training increases.
