Bessie

Bessie

Bessie comes for Doggy Day care twice a week. She loves going for a swim in the pool and has recently graduated to off lead group walks..which she loves too. On the days Bessie comes, I need to empty the pool an hour before our walk and an hour before she goes home because I can guarantee she will jump in before she has to go in the car.She goes home very tired from Doggy Day care...as they all do.

Tui

We have been looking after Tui since she was a little kitten and what a joy to watch her grown into a lovely adult kitty.

Jazz

Jazz is a regular boarder at the In Home boarding facility. Jazz hates any loud noises and fireworks..whenever we hear fireworks go off the first question the family asks me "Is Jazz here?" I spent a morning helping her owner look for Jazz when she took off from her own home in the middle of the night, after she was frightened by fireworks. The police caught up with her in Brookfield ( close to where we are) and brought her home. Jazz goes to work every day and so takes advantage of our taxi service to collect her and drop her off.

Her owner says

" I would not consider using anyone other that Absolutely Precious Paws to care for Jazz when we are away. The family go out of their way to attend to her every need. Special mention must go to Kerry who sits with Jazz through Thunder, Lightning and Fireworks. Absolutely Precious Paws is Jazz's second home and she is always relaxed whenever Lisa picks her up for another holiday."

Bollie

Bollie stays at the In Home boarding facility. Her 'parents' are away for long periods and so book up to a year ahead. Her favourite thing is running on the beach with the other dogs on their group walk.

Wazo

And we care for birds too. Wazo lives right by the sea so has a fantastic view of the Mt and can see the seagulls out his window.

Bonnie

Bonnie comes to stay at the In home boarding facilility. I have been looking after Bonnies owners Golden Retrievers since 2002 either in their own home or at my home. Her favourite place to walk is Fergusson Park.

Kyra and Jack

We have been Kyra and Jack's pet sitters since they were little kittens. They are inside cats but are allowed outside for a walk with their harnesses and leads on.

Buffy

Oska

This is Oska. Oska is a diabetic and he stays in one of the Pet Sitters homes. He is given daily insulin injections. Oska is also blind but knows where everything is. He is always the first to line up for dinner. He's a dear wee chap and still goes out for daily walks too.

Yogi

Yogi the rabbit boarded with me on this occasion but we can 0pet sit them in their homes quite happily.

Rocco

Rocco comes regularly to Doggy Day Care. He loves running on the group walks with the other dogs. He is staring in some of the videos. His 'mother' says Rocco loves going to Precious Paws! He drags me to the front door when we get there in the morning, and he is always eager to see Lisa. He has even learned that he can swim, and does so voluntarily, on the group walks each day! Lisa is professional, caring and very knowledgeable about animals. I highly recommend Precious Paws to anyone looking for a safe, enjoyable place for their pet to stay. Thanks!"

Jessie comes for Doggy Day Care as well as staying overnight at the In Home boarding facility. I was down at the Waikareo estuary the other day and Jessies 'parents' biked past. One of the bikes had a little basket on the front and in it was Jessie going for a ride. Very cute...

Molly

This is Molly

Molly comes for Doggy Day Care each day. Molly doesn't live very far from here and a few months back we heard a bark at about 10pm. I went downstairs to check who it might be. No one making any noise down there. At 11pm another bark, at 12 another and at 1 pm my husband said..that barking noise is coming from outside our door. I opened the ranch slider and here was Molly. She had run away from home and ended up at my home. I rang her 'mother' and she came round and picked her up.
