Hi, my name is Margaret Davies.
My husband Al and I moved to Taupo from Wellington with our 3 sons almost 20 years ago. We have been self employed since our move to Taupo.
One of our customers in the late 80’s introduced us to Bernese Mountain Dogs. We obtained our first Bernese Mountain Dog in 1989 and have been infatuated with the breed ever since. I imported new lines from overseas and became a breeder myself. This has given me a lot of pleasure and enjoyment over the years, I also started going to Dog Shows and Showing my dogs, another interest away from work. Recently my friend Pam and I imported a little Toy Dog from Australia, called Rebel, he is a Havanese.
We live on a small life style block in rural Taupo, with our Birman cats, 4 Bernese and a Havanese. I am looking forward to my new venture working with Precious Paws and Lisa, meeting new pets and people in and around Taupo.

Margaret Davies has fed our cat Rosie for us twice now. The first time was when we were booked to go away and she developed a virus that disallowed her into a cattery. The Vet recommended Margaret. She came, gave the antibiotics and looked after Rosie, giving her cuddles etc. Margaret gives a wonderful service and I can thoroughly recommend her. (Enid Cately)
