Hi, my name is Lisa Hudson. I am the Owner of Absolutely Precious Paws Ltd and have been Pet Sitting for over 10 years. My experience and qualifications will give you peace of mind while you are away from your precious pets.
I have a Diploma in Veterinary Nursing and then 7 1/2 years experience in Vet Clinics in Wellington and Tauranga.I have done the Hills Nutritional Advisor program to Level 3 as well as many other related courses. While I was Vet Nursing I ran the cattery at one of the Vet Clinics I worked at, instructed the Puppy Preschool Programme and attended 3 Veterinary Nursing Conferences. I attended the Wellington Canine Obedience club coming first in our beginners, J1 and J2 class. I also did volunteer work at the Cat's Protection League .The clinic I worked at in Wellington combined conventional and complimentary medicine and approached the animal care in an holistic way.
I have experience and have attended courses on Nutrition, Homeopathy, Aromatherapy and Australian and Bach Flower essences, all of which I have used on animals. I have had numerous pets ( dogs, cats, a pony, a bird, rabbits, lambs and calves) of my own.
I have been running Absolutely Precious Paws since May 2000 when I saw the need for high quality care for pets, while their owners are away. During that time my team and I have developed systems that ensure our client's pets get the best possible care. All my team members are carefully chosen for their experience with animals and their caring nature. They are also mature, responsible and have initiative and good judgement. I personally train all the Pet Sitters and provide ongoing training and support for them.
