Hi my name is Jenny Greener
I am sure that the first question people would like to ask is who will be pet sitting my animals in my absence and why I should trust them with that task? Here's a brief history about my experience in the animal industry and why I think pet owners would be comfortable having me care for their pets. After I completed the National Certificate in Veterinary Nursing in 2000 I immediately started practicing as a Veterinary Nurse at a clinic in Hamilton. I practised as a Vet nurse until 2002 and thoroughly enjoyed the work that I did. In 2003 I then joined the team at the Waikato SPCA. I worked as an Animal Welfare Inspector for 3 years. It was an extremely rewarding position and I gained a lifetime worth of experience working with and helping animals and educating people about the proper care and attention that animals need.
After my position at the SPCA I was offered the opportunity of becoming an Animal Control Officer for the Hamilton City Council Animal Care and Control Unit. I worked as an Officer for 2 years before relocating to the Bay of Plenty, settling in Mt. Maunganui. I have been a Pet sitter and Dog walker for Absolutely Precious Paws since July 2009. It is so rewarding and I have built some incredible bonds with the pets that I care for and I’ve built a good trust with many pet owners.
I feel that you as an animal owner would be very happy and comfortable to have me pet sit your pet(s). I thrive when I get to work with animals and you could be rest assured that your animal(s) would be in the best of hands if I were to care for them. I have had a lot of experience working with and caring for a huge number of animals throughout my life. I can guarantee that you will have peace of mind knowing that your animal(s) are being well cared for and I look forward to doing that for you.
