Hi, my name is Aleisha Hardie. I have always had a
love of animals and it was my goal from a young age to work with animals.
In 2006 I completed a Certificate in Animal Care, then spent 5 years working in pet stores and in the animal industry.
In 2011 I completed the Certificate in Veterinary Nursing and plan to study the Diploma in Veterinary Nursing in 2012.I have had experience with all sorts of animals and have owned a great variety of them too…. cats, dogs, horses, tropical fish and eels, rats, rabbits, a rainbow lorikeet. I have hand reared baby cockatiels, rainbow lorikeets and ring neck parrots.
At the moment I have a dog called Lucy who is a Doberman cross that I adopted from the SPCA, a cat,Obie, who was also rescued after being dumped and 2 bantam hens. I foster kittens for the SPCA.
