"My partner and I went away for the weekend but when arranging it found ourselves worried about taking the pets( 1 cat, 1dog ) to the kennels. Don’t get me wrong, the people at the kennels are great but Pasta (our dog) doesn’t like to be caged and the cat hates change.
By chance I came across an ad in the local paper for a pet sitting company, I don’t know if I am allowed to mention their name on here but they were FANTASTIC. They fed both animals, picked up doggie doos from the lawn, walked, petted, pampered, you name it they did it!
Our animals were so happy when we got home, it was like we had never left. As well as this we got a small written daily report about behaviour and well being and a welcome home card. Yeah but how much?? It was cheaper, better service and far more friendly for our pets and I highly recommend anyone going away to look into it."

I just wanted to thank you properly for the wonderful job you did looking after Raff and Pandora. They were so happy and healthy and obviously very well looked after. Pandora spent the first 2-3 days telling us (at all hours!) all about it but has quietened down again thankfully. Your notes from each visit were fantastic. I hadn't expected that and thought it is a great idea. You are right - we have no idea either how Pandora survives in the upstairs sauna but maybe the heat is good for any age related aches or pains.
Sorry that you were greeted on a few occasions with cat vomit. It must have been an off week for them as it seems to come and go. Thanks for cleaning it up so well.
I will definitely recommend you to anyone needing pet care as you provide a fantastic service and one that is far less stressful for pets and owners than sending them off to a cattery. I am not sure when we will next be away.... I think I would prefer to have you look after the cats than have housesitters in.
Anyway Jenny thank you again for everything you did. I hope everything goes well for you in the next few months and I will be in touch with you (and Lisa) when we need you again.

"I would personally highly recommend the services provided by Lisa and her staff at Absolutely Precious Paws to anyone who wants the absolute best care for their loved pet while they have to go away. We have been using Lisa since we moved through from Christchurch last year and I cant speak more highly of a more perfect place for our precious dog to go when we have to go away for a weekend, a week or just a day. The ease of being able to drop her off at a flexiable time and know that she will be well looked after with lots of cuddles, and not placed in a cage. They have long walks if you chose and are able to play with other dogs aswell.
It is a great feeling when you dog jumps out of the car to Lisa with tail wagging and wanting to play."
